Susan McClelland

Managing Attorney and Program Creator

Providing a place where widows could go as an all-inclusive destination in their time of need was Susan’s concept and passion.

Susan became a widow herself when her husband died unexpectedly.   Her experience opened her eyes to how the legal profession, specifically, and society, in general, has not adequately recognized and addressed the needs of widows of any age or circumstance.   She decided to change the way that services were provided to widows and to offer support for widows across the board in every area such as grief support, life coaching, social networking, music therapy, providing reliable referral sources to other professionals and services, planning, and estate administration.

Susan has practiced law in Texas since 1984 in multiple areas including injury law, family law, employment law, estate planning, probate, business law, litigation, dispute resolution services, real estate, and transactions.  This broad background allows her to identify and solve problems, and her extensive professional network allows her to call on the best talent when circumstances require it.

Susan is a published song-writer, author, and poet, and outside of her work, she enjoys gardening, sewing, and grandchildren.
